Terms of Use
Effective and last updated October 5, 2026
Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Chamberlin Studio (formerly Chamberlin Design), a Chamberlin Enterprises company ("we," "us," or "our"), about your use of chamberlin.studio and our booking page. By using the site, or by sending us a request through it, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About this website
Chamberlin Studio is a web studio in Harbor Springs, Michigan. This site describes our services, shows work we have done, and lets you contact us, book a meeting, request free resources, and leave feedback. The information on it is general and can change.
Using the site
You may browse the site, follow its links, and contact us for any lawful purpose. Please do not:
- Use the site for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten, or harm anyone.
- Send false information, impersonate someone else, or send spam or automated requests.
- Try to break into, overload, or disrupt the site or My Project, or get around their security or spam protection.
- Copy, scrape, or reuse the site's content or designs, or use them to build a competing service.
- Upload or send anything that contains viruses or harmful code.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules.
Pricing and projects
Prices and timelines shown on this site are general starting points, not offers. Sending an inquiry or booking a meeting does not create a contract. Every project is governed by its own written proposal and agreement, which take precedence over anything on this site, including these terms.
My Project and payments
If you become a client, My Project, your private project page, holds your proposal, agreement, invoices, and files. Keep your My Project link private and share it only with your team. Signing an agreement on My Project is a legally binding electronic signature. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms, and your agreement sets the amounts and due dates.
Free resources and emails
Free resources, such as prompt packs, are for your own use. You may use what you make with them, but please do not resell or republish the resources themselves. If you sign up for one, we may send you an occasional design email, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Calls and text messages
When you send the contact form, you agree that we may call, text, or email you about your inquiry. We do not send marketing texts.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to stop texts at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call (231) 838-1408.
- Agreeing to be contacted is not a condition of any purchase.
- Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
- See our privacy policy for how we handle your number. We never share it for marketing.
Our content and client work
The content on this site, including text, design, logos, images, and code, belongs to Chamberlin Enterprises or is used with permission from the businesses shown. Client logos, websites, and work samples remain the property of their owners and are shown with their permission. Results described in our work stories are real, and every business is different, so your results may vary. You may view and print pages for your own personal use, but you may not reproduce or reuse site content commercially without written permission.
What you send us
When you send us an inquiry, files, feedback, or a testimonial, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it, and you let us use it to respond to you and provide our services, as described in our privacy policy. We show testimonials only in the way you chose, and you can ask us to remove yours at any time. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
Other websites
This site links to client websites and to other companies, such as Instagram and Stripe. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and online, but to the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of harmful code, and articles and resources are general information, not professional advice for your business.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Chamberlin Enterprises is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses that come from using or being unable to use this website, and our total responsibility for any claim about the website is limited to $100. These limits apply only to your use of the website. They do not change your rights under a project agreement with us or under laws that cannot be limited.
Your responsibility
If you misuse the site or break these terms, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees.
Michigan law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you have a concern, please contact us first, and we will try to resolve it with you within 30 days. If we cannot, the dispute will be decided in the state or federal courts serving Emmet County, Michigan, and you and we agree to those courts.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new date at the top, and it applies from that date forward. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement about your use of this website; any project agreement you sign with us covers the work itself.
